2. The annual income limit of the parents of the students should be Rs. 2.50 lakh for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Tribes and Rs. 2 lakhs for Scheduled Castes-2A, 2B, 3A and 3B- Rs.
3. Candidates must apply online.
4. In the online application, the SSLC registration number, year of passing and date of birth should be entered in the same as in the SSLC marker.
5. The student must enter the college, taluk, district, university, board / board, admission procedure, course details, admission details and marks obtained in the previous class.
6. Students applying for the post-SSLC course (1st PUC, 1st Diploma, 1st ITI etc.) are required to obtain SATS (Student Achievement Tracking System) from the school in the previous class. Mandatory Implementation

8. The student must be at least 5km away from the college where the student is admitted. Distance from the college to its own location should be specified in km.
9. Enter the number in the Student Caste and Income Certificate, click the View button to ensure that the figures you received in the Certificate of Recognition (Do not accept the Income Certificate for Employment.) Income Certificate must be mandatory for education.
10. If you submit the caste and income certificate in one letter, fill in one of the caste or income clause in the application form.
11. The date of receipt of the student's religion, caste, ethnicity and caste & income and the annual income of the student's parents, the parent's profession must be mentioned.
12. If the student is a disabled and blind student, then yes.

14. More than two family members receive a fee exemption, Govt. of India, Govt. of Karnataka, Donors Scholarships, Other.
15. Students must submit Aadhaar number when applying for student dormitory. If the Aadhaar number is not available, enter the EID number after applying for the Aadhaar card. (Your Aadhaar number must be linked to your bank account)
16. The student must specify bank account number and IFSc code open in any nationalized bank (your bank account must be mandatory for your Aadhaar number)
17. The student must enter the address for the letter and the student's permanent address, mobile number and e-mail details.
18. In case of technical difficulties when submitting an application please contact bcwd.hostels@karnataka.gov.in with e-mail.
Mandatory uploads online must be uploaded online in each of the following documents:
1. The Caste and Income Certificate from the Tahsildar / Sub-Tahsildar (once the receipt of income receipt is valid for 5 years and the Caste Certificate will be permanent) and (Not receiving the income certificates for employment.) The income certificate must be compulsory for education.
2. Transfer Certificate issued by concerned school-colleges
3. Aadhaar Card or EID. Number one,
4. SSLC Scoreboard and previous Class / Courses list.
5. The first page of bank passbook (details are clearly visible).
6. If the student is disability / blind students, a certified certificate from the respective authorities.
7. Student's Photo (Only JPG can be uploaded with max. Of 30 kb.)
8. Residence Certificate Letter from Village Panchayat / Local Institutions.
