2) Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana launched an e-learning initiative 'Unnati' by the southwest district of the police force to help educate youngsters and provide vocational training to school dropouts.


3) An undersea earthquake of magnitude 7.6 struck Indonesia as the country's meteorological department issued a tsunami warning.

➨ Indonesian authorities estimated the quake at magnitude 7.5, which struck its region of East Nusa Tenggara in the Flores Sea.


4) The government launched a national helpline to create awareness about the provisions of the law aimed at ending discrimination and providing protection to Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).
