8) Scientists at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), BHU claim to have developed a first-of-its-kind device in India for the on-site production of ultra-pure Hydrogen.

9) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched Tejasvini and Hausala schemes of J&K Bank.

➨ Tejasvini scheme focuses on providing financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh to girls between 18-35 years for starting their business.

10) Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated 2nd Global Chemicals & Petrochemicals Manufacturing Hub (GCPMH).

11) The Ministry of Defence  approved a proposal to procure a GSAT-7C satellite and related equipment for the Indian Air Force (IAF) at a cost of Rs 2,236 crore. 

➨The decision to clear the procurement was taken at a meeting of the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
