- Additional Director of Horticulture: Must have put in service not less than 05 years in the cadre of Joint Director of Agriculture
- Joint Director of Horticulture: Must have put in service not less than 05 years in the cadre of Deputy Director of Agriculture
- Deputy Director of Horticulture: Must have put in service not less than 05 years in the cadre of Sr. Assistant Director of Agriculture
- Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture: Must have put in service not less than 05 years in the cadre of Assistant Director of Agriculture
- Administrative Officer: Must have put in service not less than 05 years in the cadre of Gazetted Manager
- Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture (Landscape) & Assistant Director of Horticulture (Landscape): Must have put in service not less than 03 years in the cadre of Assistant Director of Horticulture (Landscape)

- Second Division Assistant: Must have put in service not less than 10 years in the post of Driver/Group-D
