3) A SpaceX shipment of ants, avocados and a human-sized robotic arm rocketed toward the International Space Station.

5) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Saturday announced the launch of the next round of households surveys to capture inflation expectations and consumer confidence, which provide useful inputs for its monetary policy.

7) India's Singhraj Adhana won bronze in the men's 10m air pistol SH1 final at the Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020.

➨Singhraj, who had contracted the polio virus at the age of one, would walk with the help of crutches till 15 years.

8) Nine new judges, including three women, would be administered the oath of office as judges of the Supreme Court by Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana.

➨ Three out of these nine new judges - Justice Vikram Nath and Justice BV Nagarathna and Justice PS Narasimha are in line to become the chief justice of India. 

➨ The strength of the Supreme Court would go up to 33, including the CJI, out of the sanctioned strength of 34, after the swearing-in of the nine new judges.

9) Stuart Binny, India all-rounder who owns the record of the best bowling figures in ODI format, announced his retirement from cricket – first-class and international.

➨ Stuart, 37, began his career with his state Karnataka and represented India in six Tests, 14 ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals.

10) It was a double delight for India in the High jump (T63) event as stars Mariyappan Thangavelu and Sharad Kumar won the silver and bronze medal, respectively, in the final of the event at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics.
