KARNATAKA HIGH COURT JUDGE RECRUITMENT 2019
Applications were invited for the appointment of 71 posts last December. But only 15 were ultimately selected. The High Court has now again issued a notification for the appointment of the remaining 56 posts.
Out of the 56 backlog posts, 9 posts are reserved for Category-I, 40 for Category-2 (a), and 7 for Category-2 (b).
Eligibility:
Applicants must have a law degree and register as a compulsory lawyer.Candidates with required qualifications and service in the High Court and District Courts can apply.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit for the post of Civil Judge is 35 years.SC / ST candidates will be given 3 years of relaxation in their age group.
Maximum age limit for service workers is set at 40 years.
Application Fee:
For civil prelims examination:1) Candidates in Category-I will be given Rs. & 2A, 2B candidates Rs 250 The fee must be paid.
2) The 2A and 2B candidates for the Main Examination will get Rs. And candidates of Category-I will get Rs 500.
The application fee must be paid.
Application fees are allowed online and through Bank Challan.
How to Recruit :
- The preliminary examination
- The main exam will be conducted for those who qualify.
- Interview.
- The appointment will be based on the marks obtained in the main examination and oral examination.
The preliminary examination consists of a 100-point questionnaire. Questions are asked on various matters, including the Code of Civil Procedure, the Transfer Clause Act, the Asset Transfer Act.
The main exam consists of translation paper, legal paper 1, 2, 3 (100 marks each)
